BBC Pidgin: Did You Ever Experience Sexual Abuse In Boarding School?
BBCpidgin is asking this question on facebook and I observed a lot of people are shying away from the question of sexual abuse and focusing more on physical abuse and maltreatments. I understand their reservations considering identity is open on facebook.
So thought I should bring it here. Did you ever experience sexual abuse or know someone who was abused as a boarding school student? It’s one myth a lot of people carry, so can we have this talk here? Please share your experience.
I did attend a boarding school. I was not abused per se. But had a senior who masturbated in front of some three or four of us just to show us what sperm looks like.
By the way, I’ve been to education, crime, and family sections before I decided to place this here. I do hope my judgement was OK. Lol
