Meet Nlebudim Frank AKA “FRANKSTRINGS”; a vocal coach, inspirational and motivational song writer, and a musician that plays the Acoustic guitar. Frank is a Christian and an indigene of Abia State, Nigeria. He is a 300 level Psychology student of the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State.
Frankstrings was the First ever winner of the Unizik Project Fame 2015, CEO Frankstrings school of vocals, and Nigeria’s first ever birthday ringer.
At www.somtochukwu.com , under the Creative Nigerians section, I am concerned about encouraging young Nigerians that are doing something different in a positive way. Â Read the little interview I had with him;
Who influenced you in being a vocal coach and a musician of the Acoustic Guitar?
It just came from God; I am not looking up to anyone. I know that I have lives to impact.
Circumstances has also putten me in a position to do more. When I was younger, I depended so much on others because I hadn’t discovered myself.
Who has been your source of encouragement so far?
My source of encouragement has been the Frankstrings school of vocals students and Pastor Obi Ogbo of the Garden of Grace church – he has been of great help, he gave me every amenity I have, he stands by me and he gives my students the platform to showcase their talent.
What do you do differently (your uniqueness)?
Most people nickname me as “Frankstrings the Birthday Ringer” because I call people online on their birthday and I am being paid for it. Doing this makes me very happy and it makes the recipients even happier because I do not get to disclose the client that asked me to call the person. It is usually a surprise call.
As a vocal coach, I have a school for training students (Frankstrings School of Vocals), and I also go to other places in Anambra and Enugu state to train people.
What do you aim at in the future?
My aim is to be Africa’s renowned vocal coach and to be the future vocal coach for Mtn project fame, the ones that are there are getting old – and I believe we are the future.
Your advice to other young Nigerians
Everyone has something inside of them but most times people tend to procrastinate. As a Nigerian, once you catch the vision, pursue it well and definitely it will triumph.
