Mkpụrụ okwu Igbo di Iri ato na Isii nke mejupụtara (Igbo alphabets consists of a total of 36 alphabets which is divided into);
- Mgbochiume iri abuo na asato (28 Consonants) na
- Udaume asato (8 vowels) .
Mkpuru okwu Igbo di n’udi n’udi, anyi wee nke Nnukwu (Capital letter) na nke Obere (Small letters).

- Nw – Nwanyi (Woman)
- Kp – Kpo (Call)
- Ch – Chidimma ( God is good)
- Gw – Gwara (Told)
- Ghara afia (Went to the market)
- J – Jide (Hold)
- B – Bia (Come)
