Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a visible presence in the boarding community and houses in order to develop rapport with all boarding students
• Keep the Head of School and other relevant safeguarding colleagues and boarding staff informed of pastoral issues relating to any student in the boarding program
• Oversee boarding student disciplinary cases to ensure fair and consistent
• treatment and support for all students
• Proactively be alert to indicators of potential safeguarding issues and report
• these immediately in accordance with the school’s procedure
• Planning and overseeing boarding inspections
• Develop a strategy to ensure that boarding is promoted and marketed in an appropriate and effective way and meet regularly with the Head of School to review progress
• Communicating regularly and effectively with the Head, Deputy Heads, staff, and parents on issues relating to the general welfare of boarders, in particular matters causing concern.

Requirements: 

• Interested Applicants must have their first-degree credential and previous working experience within a hostel.
• 3 years experience
