We are looking for an experienced Chief Security Officer to join our team. Your responsibilities will primarily be centered on providing stakeholders and residents with a comfortable sense of security by guaranteeing the safety of both human and non-human assets of the business. The scope includes the company’s residential estates, office locations, and construction sites.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Be proactive about security issues and institute measures as at when due to mitigating risks and threats both internally and externally
- To provide leadership to the security operations team as the most senior safety and security officer
- Develop and enforce implementation of security protocols in the organisation
- To provide high quality, efficient, and integrated security risk management through the provision of specialized, coordinated and focused security management support
- Assign personnel to effectively cover key locations to prevent security breaches
- Provide day-to-day supervision over security personnel
- Identify and recommend technology solutions to augment security objectives
- Draw up annual security department budget and participate in periodic reviews on-budget performance
- Oversee any investigation involving security, prepare reports and act on follow up actions
- Ensure quick response intervention to distress safety and security calls
- Represent security unit on any relevant project workgroups
- Maintain and update Security Operations Manual for use by all security personnel
- Maintain close and continuous relationships with law enforcement organizations that may provide safety and security-related information and intelligence
- Conduct regular training and performance evaluation for members of the security team
Requirements:
- A first degree or its equivalent in Sociology and any other discipline in the Humanities or Social Sciences
- Formal security qualification or advanced security management training is essential
- Former member of Nigerian Security Apparatus such as the Nigeria Police, Nigeria Security, and Civil Defense Corps, etc. and network access to relevant security groups and agencies
- Minimum of 12 years post qualification working experience in a similar role, 5 years of which must be at a senior level.
- Experience in incident reporting, incident mapping, intelligence collation, and analysis, as well as security assessments and reporting, liaising with established security agencies such as the Nigerian Police, Nigeria Security, and Civil Defence Corps, etc.
- Security professional with proven management experience within the security industry, the public sector, and armed forces
- Creative with strong execution and negotiation skills.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint), and virtual meeting tools
- Ability to present data given insights to guide decision making
- Excellent organisation, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Expected Monthly Pay:NGN 180,000 – 250,000 net.
Accommodation and patrol vehicle is provided.
