Job Summary

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. Manilla Technologies is a Nigerian homegrown technology company housing a tech cohort of the best developers. The company supports multiple brands in different industries globally with their software development needs and further provides manpower for multimedia content creation and digital marketing.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 5 years
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as  SCSS
• An understanding of accurate and rapid prototyping in UI development is strongly required.
• Have a keen eye for UI design and be great at animating web elements 
• Strong understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, like, Angular, ReactJS
• Experience working Google technologies; Firebase, Google  Maps would be an advantage 
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git,
• Knowledge of NodeJS would be an advantage
• An understanding of CI/CD (DevOps) would be an advantage

Salary Range: NGN 200,000 – 250,000
