A start-up technology company is looking for a Head of Technology to provide sound technical support in all aspects of the daily operations of our business. The ideal candidate will engage with employees, stakeholders, and customers to ensure the company’s technology is fit for its purpose.

Job Description/Requirements

• Creates and implements technology strategies
• Aligns the company’s technology resources with the organization’s short- and long-term goals
• Identify what technologies can be used to improve the company’s products and services
• Creates and oversees high-level KPIs for the IT department
• Assists in recruiting, onboarding, and training of IT staff 
• Help prepare and manage the department’s budget
• Liaise with external support system for the management and delivery of operational related technologies
• Work with other departments to use new technologies to streamline company policies and rules
• Conducts research to improve the technological assets of the company
• Develops and direct all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information
• Develops and implement all internal communication systems, such as email and instant messaging
• Plans and implement proper Internet usage policies for employees
• Evaluate new technology and make recommendations on technological solutions
• Uses technological assets to help ease use for employees and clients
• Consistently evaluate technical efficiency and makes changes as necessary
• Makes presentations to board of directors and chief executive officer
• Develop and enhance the company’s website to increase site traffic
• Identifies competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of a company
• Directs the development and possible implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must have demonstrable experience in a similar role,
• Great work ethics, and most importantly, be able to understand current market trends.

Salary Range: NGN 200,000 – 250,000

Location: Lekki, Lagos.
