We at Royalton Hotels are seeking to hire a focused candidate who is tech-savvy to join our team as an IT Officer. In this role, you will also be doubling as a Social Media Officer to ensure active engagement on all our social media handles.

Job Description/Requirements

Essential Duties as an IT Officer:

• Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel
• Setting up of computer LAN for a new outlet while providing a solution to i.t matters concurrently.
• Verify functionality of hardware and software components
• Conduct consistent network backup operations
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades

Essential Duties as Social Media Specialist:

• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions

Requirements:

• OND/NCE in Computer Science/Engineering or Communication
• Minimum two years experience working in a digital marketing or digital communications and IT Officer environment Demonstrable creative approach to developing, implementing, and evaluating digital media activities
• Excellent written English and understanding of writing for digital, adaptable to different styles and tones of voice
• Experience in publishing using a Content Management System (CMS)
• Multimedia production skills;
• Understanding of working within a strong brand identity

Salary Range: NGN 30,000 – 35,000
