Job Summary

We are searching for a marketing officer with a knack for communicating and a flair for strategizing and implementing our marketing campaigns. The marketing officer is required to contribute to existing marketing, branding and advertising plans while assisting with the development of fresh initiatives in line with the company’s goals. To be successful in this role the candidate must be an organized person who is able to withstand the pressures of handling varied tasks at the same time and meeting company deadlines.

Job Description/Requirements

Marketing Officer Responsibilities: 

• Managing and developing marketing campaigns and promoting company products 
• Searching for new market opportunities 
• Conducting promotional activities 
• Organizing and distributing financial and statistical information 
• Evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns  
• Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups
• Reporting on market trends and collecting statistics across the board 

Job Requirements: 

• Bsc/HND in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration or any relevant management or social sciences courses 
• Proven work experience in marketing will be of great advantage 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Knowledge of Kano and its environs will be of great advantage 
• Thorough knowledge of social media and web analytics 
• A solid understanding of research techniques will be a plus 
• Job role may involve travelling from time to time within and outside Kano 
• Male candidates are mostly preferred for this role.
  

Salary: NGN40,000 -NGN70,000
