Job Summary

The company is seeking a creative marketing officer to become a part of our growing marketing team. The candidate will be charged with the duty to create and deliver marketing strategies and campaigns for the company. The candidate must have previous marketing experience in creating effective brand strategies and advertising campaigns, as well as an eye for detail and design.

Job Description/Requirements

Job Roles: 

• Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies.
• Support the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations.
• Organise and attend marketing activities or events to raise the company’s brand awareness.
• Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media  (SEO, social media, print adverts) 
• Oversee and update the company’s website. 
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
• Reporting on trends and statistics across all digital media platforms. 
• Run social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement. 
• Source the best advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press or on the radio.
• Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts.

Knowledge and Skills: 

• 3 years experience as a marketing officer. 
• Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles. 
• Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
• Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics. 
• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills. 
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. 
• Creativity and commercial awareness. 
• A team player with a customer-oriented approach. 
• BSc/BA in marketing or business administration.

Location: Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Salary: NGN 80,000 – NGN 120,000
