Job Summary

This role requires a diligent and self-motivated individual with experience managing the operations of a business. The individual will work directly with company executives to direct the production of hair extensions on-site. The ideal candidate is proactive and operates with maximum attention to detail while supervising and leading a team.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Supervise: Organize, direct, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the team to ensure that the hair braiding factory runs smoothly.
• Quality Control: Monitor daily production by braiders to ensure maximum product quality and on-time completion of orders while minimizing unnecessary costs.
• Compliance: Enforce compliance with company policies and brand production requirements.
• Performance Assessment: Screening, training, and monitoring braiders to exceed performance metrics and expectations.
• Wellbeing: Address employees’ concerns or grievances and administer corrective action where applicable.
• Trend: Stay up to date with the latest braid hairstyles and trends and ensure the team is up to date.
• Professionalism: Exceptional communication, management, and leadership skills.
• Reporting: Preparing written reports and submitting to company management on production status and overall upkeep of the factory daily.

Requirements:

• Women only, as the role requires familiarity and interest in the female hair industry.
• The job holder must reside in Aba, Abia State.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, logistics, science, or related field.
• At least 1-year of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).
• Computer Literacy.
• Strong team building, decision-making, people management, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with hair extensions and braids market and/or experience with braiding hair.
