Job Summary

Our client is a growing solar energy provider in West Africa with a presence in Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Nigeria and plans to expand within the region. They are looking for a passionate, motivated and dynamic professional with experience in providing operational support services to ensure the efficiency of business operations. The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager/Lead will support the Logistic Director in managing the supply chain, transport and logistics. As a Supply Chain Manager/Lead, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain operations in Nigeria in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. You will be responsible for managing your team, so some previous leadership experience would be required.

Candidate Profile: 

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role/ Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or any related field 
• Very good understanding of in-bound and out-bound logistics, shipping, logistics planning etc
• High level of emotional intelligence 
• Strong relationship management skills 
• Creative, Proactive and Dynamic Individual 
• Ability to plan and keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines 
• Good knowledge of project management. The use of project management software is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Willingness to travel 
• Passionate about social missions and motivated by the organization mission 
• Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate outcomes effectively
