The job holder must have a Bachelor’s Degree, 2nd Class Honors (Upper Division) in Engineering discipline or any other Computer related field. A minimum of 4 years post qualification experience on a similar job function. Telecoms experience will be an added advantage.

Job Description/Requirements

Principal Accountabilities:

• Responsible for maintaining the Media Gateway, SIP servers and other VoIP platforms
• Analysing existing VoIP networks and computer systems.
• Developing architecture plans for voice services.
• Installing network hardware modules including IP and PBX communication servers.
• Designing and implementing SIP-Trunk Unity systems.
• Troubleshooting VoIP network issues.
• Analysing and upgrading network security systems and protocols.
• Adding network users and managing company permissions.
• Optimizing network installations for future expansion.

Skills and Competencies:

• Previous experience working as a VoIP network engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of VoIP systems and IP Protocols.
• Familiarity with WAN and LAN systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
