Colonel D.C. Bako Buried
The remains of the late Nigerian Army Col. Dahiru Bako who was killed in an ambush by Boko Haram fighters in Borno State have been buried, Igbere TV reports.
The colonel’s patrol team was ambushed at about 10 am on Sunday near Damboa, about 85 kilometres from Maiduguri, the state capital.
Igbere TV reports that Bako was laid to rest in Borno State on Tuesday.
