Nigerian Drug Dealer Killed In Philippines During Shootout With Police
MORE OR LESS 2 KGS OF SHABU SEIZED BY AUTHORITIES, FOREIGN NATIONAL DIED DURING SHOOTOUT WITH AUTHORITIES
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN VALERIANO T DE LEON said that a foreign national allegedly a member of an international drug syndicate died during a shootout with authorities on Thursday, Dec 31 in Tarlac.
Based on reports by Tarlac Police Director PCOL REYNANTE CABICO, joint operatives of PDEG-SOU 8, SOU2, SOU1, RID3, Concepcion MPS, Tarlac PPO, RIU3, AKG and PDEA under the supervision of PBGEN RONALD LEE, PNP DEG Director conducted buy bust operation turned shootout in a videoke bar located at Brgy., Jefmin, Concepcion Tarlac which resulted in the death of Gabriel Onyechefula, Nigerian National and seizure of Three (3) knot-tied transparent plastic bag containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing more or less 2 kgs with DDB value of Php 13,600,000; 1 caliber 9mm machine pistol with ammunition and 2 pcs genuine Php 1000 bill placed on top of 14 bundles of boodle money.
PBGEN DE LEON also said that further investigation revealed that slain suspect is a member of West African Syndicate (WADS) responsible in the proliferation of shabu and cocaine in the country, they also lure Filipinos to become drug mules.
