This year, Spotify launched in Nigeria, joining the likes of Apple Music and Audiomack in the streaming game.

Owing to Spotify’s international credibility, though, a lot of Nigerians quickly moved onto the platform.

For fanbases like 30 BG who have struggled to keep their Spotify streams up because it wasn’t available in the country, it was a splendid opportunity to take back the charts.

For others, it was an opportunity to improve their stats and ultimately, their bragging rights. Well, it’s the end of the year and I’m delighted to announce that bragging rights are here.

Spotify has released the top 10 songs for the year 2021 in Nigeria. The list, which features music from Wizkid, Omah Lay, and others doesn’t exactly look surprising at all for anyone who’s been following the music.
