Olayide Bakare, wife of the founder of Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC) Pastor Tunde Bakare clocked 60 on Saturday, Igbere TV reports.

Mrs Bakare is the deputy serving overseer (DSO) of the church formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly.

A message on the church’s Facebook page read: 

“We want to thank God for His faithfulness in the life of our matriarch, our D.S.O of life, Authentic Mrs. B! He that began a good work in her life is faithful to complete it in her. Join us in thanking God for her 60th year on the planet. Welcome to the 6th floor, Ma. God bless you richly!”

A special service was held to celebrate the milestone on Saturday morning.

Bakare had himself celebrated his 66th birthday on November 11.

“We celebrate the favour of God over the life of our dear Pastor and Serving Overseer. May the goodness of the Lord continue to keep him and cause His immeasurable grace to shine upon him,” the church wrote in celebration of him on Facebook.

Fondly called Authentic Mrs. B by church members, Mrs Bakare got married to the famous pastor on November 24, 1984.

The marriage is blessed with five children.
