The talented Nigerian sensational musician, Fireboy DML, has set a new record with his hit titled “Peru”, becoming the first Nigerian single song to top the Afrobeats UK chart for four weeks in a row.

The Nigerian spectacular artist, Fireboy DML, has achieved a new milestone with his hit “Peru,” which has become the first Nigerian single song to top the Afrobeats UK chart for four weeks in a row.

Fireboy’s ‘Peru’ was announced the top song on the Afrobeats UK chart and by extension, has now broken the record for Nigerian solo songs atop the chart.

He said in an interview with British-Congolese comedian and show presenter Eddie Kadi that the song, Peru, was not planned, but rather a freestyle he composed in the studio after traveling there to welcome Shizzi.

“Peru” has now topped the Afrobeats UK chart for the fourth week in a row, breaking a Nigerian record in the process.

Wizkid and Buju’s “Mood” comes in second, followed by Burna Boy’s Want It All, Joeboy’s Alcohol, and Petite by NSG to complete out the top 5.
