The DevOps engineer shall be responsible for integrating project functions and resources across the product life cycle, right from planning, building, testing, and deployment to support. He/she will also be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs.

Job Description:
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
- Using various tools to orchestrate solutions
- Building independent web-based tools, microservices and solutions
- Writing scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash
- Configuring and managing data sources like MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, Mongo, Elastic Search, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.
- Managing source control including SVN and GIT.
Job Specification:
- B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related courses.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience.
- Multi-cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines from the ground up and maintaining them.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
- Experience setting up cloud and deploying AI solution is preferred.
- Experience executing automated tests.
- Python programming skills will be added advantage.
