COVID-19: TVC Does Documentary On Patients Being Treated At IDH, Yaba, Lagos
The commissioner of health Akin Abayomi has also moved his office from Alausa to the IDH to effectively fight the pandemic
Our brave @AdedojaTVC visited the Yaba IDH to see the Covid19 Patients affected by the 2nd Wave of the virus … Many of them commended the State Govt on treatment of patients.

Oxygen : More Patients require oxygen on daily basis ….. @AdedojaTVC saw used cylinders, about 70 used cylinders from just one ward was used overnight and replaced immediately in the morning
THE WARD : A lot of Patients here require Oxygen and are critically ill…. Some patients use as much as 6 cylinders per day (per patient) as noted by @AdedojaTVC.
Commissioner for Health, @ProfAkinAbayomi says Mr Governor, Mr @jidesanwoolu has instructed that we should increase oxygen generation capacity and that’s why the State activated the Oxygen Plant in conjunction with @gatesfoundation
OXYGEN PLANT: Commissioner for Health, @ProfAkinAbayomi says this newly activated Oxygen Plant which can produce 60 large Cylinders in 24 hours and daily usage and about 300 cylinders are used per day.
OXYGEN CONSUMPTION: @AdedojaTVC says the consumption of Oxygen at the IDH is very high, @ProfAkinAbayomi says this 2nd wave is affecting more younger people and Lagos State has excess capacity to admit patients .
PATIENT’s LOCATIONS: @AdedojaTVC says there patients from Alimosho, Ketu, Alapere, Ojota, Iponri, Epe, Badagry, Surulere etc .. are all in the Isolation Center which knocks of the narrative that COVID is a “rich man disease”
