LASG To Commission Four-floor 100-bed Maternal And Child Centre In Badagry

As part of efforts geared towards improving Maternal and Child Health indices in Lagos State, @followlasg has completed the construction and equipping of a four-floor 110-bed Maternal and Child Centre (MCC) located inside the General Hospital.

The MCC design was mooted as a Four (4) Storey edifice with 110 bed complement. The facility was specially designed to provide integrated healthcare services for women of child bearing age and children.

This MCC like others before it was uniquely designed to suit the pre-conceptual integrated health services including
��Emergency Services
��Obstretrics
��Gynaecology
��Laboratory Services/Blood bank
��Radiology/Sonography
��Paediatrics
��Family Planning
��Immunization

Badagry Maternal and Child Centre has been provided with modern equipment and furnitures to enhance the achievement of better maternal and child health indices in Badagry LGA and adjoining environs

The completion of this critical health infrastructure has no doubt demonstrated the commitment of @jidesanwoolu’s administration towards addressing the twin issue of maternal and child deaths in Lagos. 

With a commitment to ensure that no woman or child die from normal life enhancing process of procreation, the Governor of Lagos State, @jidesanwoolu is scheduled to commission this critical health infrastructure on Friday 11th Dec, 2020 at Badagry General Hospital by 12:00 Noon 

The Commissioner @LSMOH, @ProfAkinAbayomi cordially invites members of the public especially residents of Badagry LGA to the official launch of the Maternal & Child Centre & the School of Anaesthesia, Badagry.
