Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities 

• Develop, implement and execute successful public relations campaigns and media relations  strategies 
• Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior  management
• Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures,  videos, social media posts etc.) 
• Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing  contacts
• Prepare and distribute press releases 
• Organize PR events and prepare key leaders for press interviews 
• Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising 
• Address inquiries from the media and other parties 
• Track media coverage and follow the industry trends 
• Prepare and submit PR reports 
• Manage PR issues  

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related  field 
• 3-4 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications or a similar role
• Experience managing media relations 
• Background in researching, writing and editing publications  
• Proficient in MS Office and social media  
• Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills 
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively 
• Strong working knowledge of a variety of public relations programs Creativity and  problem-solving aptitude 

Salary: NGN2, 160,000 Gross per Annum
