Salawa Abeni Visits Oniru, Oba Gbolahan Lawal
Waka singer Salawa Abeni on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the new Oniru of Iruland Oba AbdulWasiu Lawal, Igbere TV reports.
The 59-year-old ‘Beware Medley’ singer shared a picture of the Oniru and herself on her Instagram page saying, “A courtesy visit to the new Oniru. Oba Gbolahan Lawal.”
Igbere TV reports that Oba Lawal ascended the Oniru throne nearly a year after the passing of Oba Idowu Oniru on September 19, 2019.
In June, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu presented the staff of office to Oba Lawal as the 15th Oniru of Iruland.
He was coronated on September 6.
